Catherine Johnson
Catherine Johnson is an artist living in the North East of England born and brought up in North Shields and now lives near Newcastle. She initially studied art at university but left to pursue a career in teaching. Catherine has now been painting full time for 3 years after leaving teaching and likes to paint exclusively in watercolour. She likes to walk and sketch in Northumberland and is inspired by the wild rugged landscapes, history and wildlife. She also paints the city especially around the river and her native North Tyneside. Her prints are produced in 3 sizes and the Giclee prints are on superior matt 230 gsm paper.
